SPRING FLOWERS

As soon as the days get longer and the garden begin to stir from its winter slumber, thoughts turn to Spring.  That means to me, the fresh lime green of new growth and the flowers, from the delicate milky white snowdrops to the sunshine yellow of daffodils, the rich purple of crocuses and the ruby red of tulips.

About this time I usually get inspired to do some more spring flower pictures and this year is no exception.  I have created these two 8 inch (203mm) square canvases which will be going into the One Craft Gallery this week.   Incorporated into the background are song titles and snippets from ancient copies of the New Musical Express.

These two canvases, also 8 inch (203mm) square,  were produced last year with large cutout letters conveying the message.
