BOAT CARD FOR BELATED BIRTHDAY!

Whenever I am doing a project, I use up leftover paint by painting scrap paper, which can be very useful to cut up to make cards.  This is how this card started.  I started working on the background, and then collaged on some simple shapes until the nautical design emerged...

I then remembered that a friend, who is a keen sailor, had just had his birthday, so it became a belated birthday card!
