This week I have been working on the Christmas window at the One Craft Gallery. The windows are a joint effort with another member of our co-operative, Caroline Tetley. She produces exquisite silver and coloured enamelled jewellery. Our theme this year is white trees and stars. I made one large and four smaller stars out of papier-mâché which were painted white and given several layers of glitter glue. These were hung from the ceiling and in the main window we used white cubes to represent another tree shape. We placed a couple of bare tree cutouts at an angle at the base and some flashing fairy lights at the top.
