A few weeks ago on the on-line course I am taking with
Jane Davies, we were asked to do a number of small thumbnail sketches limiting ourselves to a few criteria. I subsequently developed a couple of them, trying out different interpretations.

I found this an enjoyable and useful exercise to do. It was interesting how different a basic composition can be made to look.
