I have just finished this mixed media picture on a wood panel (30cms x 30 cms). It is titled 'Hydrangeas by Moonlight' and was inspired by the hydrangeas in my garden. They have been so beautiful this year, that I have been cutting them for my friend Dawn's Advocado & Pink flower shop. She gave me a tip - when you cut them, plunge the stems immediately in boiling water for 30 seconds, before putting them into cold water. Apparently this prevents them going floppy and they last longer. She has been using them in some of her stunning flower arrangements.
