I was recently commissioned by a mum, to make a couple of personal cards for her sons and their partners. The one above was for a recently engaged couple. The proposal was at a desert resort and spa, hence the imagery! The background is textured with acrylic medium before applying layers of acrylic paint. I collaged the cut paper on top with matt acrylic medium and finished off with a spray varnish.
This card shown on the left was collaged with painted and patterned papers. I cut out 16 circles using one of my circle punches. Each circle was outlined in black and letters, figures and punched motifs were added to commemorate the birth of a baby girl named Elle on the 20th April!
