Motorbikes

I was asked to do a couple of canvases to go onto a grid for an exhibition called ‘Energy and Movement’. Devoid of inspiration, I looked at some motorcycle magazines.  Looking through these I got excited by the action pics.  I used these as a guide to the shapes and angles needed to convey the extreme sense of movement.  Collaged in the background are old road  touring maps with adverts.  The headlights are the focal points and for these I have used metallic media.
